She also said, “It’s been really exciting and really amazing and filling my heart with so much love,” she said in the video. “And it’s hard to hold that kind of stuff in.”

Denica McKellar recorded the video after returning from a Sunday service. Bure and McKellar are two of the most prominent actresses who left the Hallmark Channel for its competitor GAC Media.

“I’m experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I’ve never had before, and it feels miraculous,” McKellar wrote. “And it all started one evening when I was struggling with the idea of forgiveness and DM’d my good friend @candacecbure about a passage from the Bible she had read on her insta stories, and then she sent me a Bible, and invited me to church.”

In the video she made, Denica Mckellar acknowledged the fact that she is still learning about her faith in God.

Her father, she said, “found the Lord 30 years ago.” She formerly went to church with him on Easter but did not attend regularly, she said.

McKellar said her impression about Christianity “was mostly, unfortunately, the way that it’s been misused in the world.”

“I’ve been discovering the pure part of it,” she said, stating also that she is experiencing “absolute joy and freedom.”

“What’s so amazing about it is that it’s actually available to everyone – it’s available to everyone. And the price of admission, it’s just a decision. It’s not even living your life perfectly, because none of us are going to do that. … I’m just sharing my journey that I’ve been on literally only for like the last two weeks, that I have been going to church and been finding a lot of amazing love and peace and purpose. And it’s blowing my mind.”

McKellar said she’s in search for a church close to her home because Bure’s church is a long drive away from her home.

“What I’ve been experiencing over the last couple of weeks is the feeling of finding that love and joy and freedom from my relationship that I’m developing with the Lord,” she said. “… I feel a lot of joy in my heart. And I always like to share that when I can. … Because I believe that we are put on this planet to experience joy and to spread joy.”

Congratulations to Denica Mckellar on her newly found faith.
