The 3rd edition of the Annual Gospel Music Awards held on the 13th of December 2020 at the Havana Royal Hall beside University of Ibadan.
It as tagged ”The Peace call”
It was a time where gospel artistes from across the country, nominated artistes and guests came together in one building.
The event started with the Red carpet session where the guests and nominees were interviewed and also took time to take some pictures, in the process, best dressed male and female were selected.
The Award proper started some few minutes after 5pm.
Maria Obehi was there with her sonorous voice to perform the national anthem in grand style. Other artistes including Saxy J, Inioluwa Gem and so on were also there to perform.
The winners from each categories were presented their respective award plaques .
Award were also given to some set of people called ”The Peace Ambassadors”. They all worked on a peace project song together in the course of the year. While celebrating medical officers and others who were instrumental in the fight against Covid, these artistes were also recognized and celebrated as ambassadors of peace.
