International gospel singer, songwriter and multiple award winner Donald James Moen popularly known as Don Moen and his wife, Laura Moen are celebrating 49 years of marital bliss.
The ‘God will make a way’ singer took to his Instagram page to share an epic throwback photo of his wife as he recounted how he got married to his woman.
Don Moen revealed he got married to Laura at a concert at a downtown theatre/church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The couple had welcomed anyone in the audience to stay for the wedding if they wished and surprisingly over 1,000 people were present at their wedding.
Don Moen noted how blessed he is as he and his wife have been through an adventure.
“49 years ago, I married this girl after a concert at a downtown theatre/church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We welcomed anyone in the audience to stay for the wedding if they wished. The wedding started at 10:00 PM and we had about 1,000 people we didn’t know at our wedding! What an adventure! I’m a very blessed man, and God is so good!!! I LOVE YOU, LAURA!!!!! Happy Anniversary!”.
OD7News recalls Don Moen revealed on Facebook how he met his wife.
The gospel singer disclosed this as he celebrated their 43rd anniversary.
“49 years ago today, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Laura said “I do” after a concert! Happy Anniversary Babe! I love you more than ever!”
Don Moen also revealed that he and his wife searched for a child for 12 years before they were finally blessed with a baby girl.
“We waited for 12 years before we had our first child. Doctors said we couldn’t have children but God gave us 5 at the end, a daughter, then a son, a daughter then a son and then a daughter.
Men had given up on us but at the end, God gave us five children in 7 years” said Don Moen.
