After blessing listeners with heartfelt hits like “Korede” and “Ojoro,” renowned gospel artist Mike Abdul returns with a deeply moving new release titled “Baba Ibeji.”
“Baba Ibeji” beautifully captures the heart of God’s fatherhood through a rich African metaphor — the “father of twins” — symbolizing honour, blessing, and abundance. The song draws parallels between this cultural imagery and God’s nature as the ultimate provider, the One who fills our lives and homes with goodness, fellowship, and favour.
Musically, the track is simple yet profound. It opens gently, like a whispered prayer, then builds into a powerful crescendo that mirrors the magnitude of its message. With soulful vocals, layered harmonies, and spirit-lifting instrumentation, “Baba Ibeji” ushers listeners into an atmosphere of deep worship and awe.
Every moment in the song feels like an invitation — to draw near, to reflect, and to encounter God in a new and intimate way. It’s both raw and reverent, transforming culture and story into a timeless worship experience.
“Baba Ibeji” is now available on Spotify and all major digital streaming platforms.
