Celebrated Nigerian gospel powerhouse and anointed music minister Mercy Chinwo has officially released her highly anticipated and deeply personal album titled In His Will.
Following her record-breaking run in 2024—topping the year-end gospel charts and recently winning Best Gospel Artist at The Headies 2025—Chinwo delivers a body of work that is intimate, inspiring, and rooted in her journey of faith, purpose, and motherhood.
Speaking about the heart behind the project, Chinwo describes In His Will as “intimate, testimony-driven, and feel-good.” Across ten beautifully crafted tracks, she shares moments of trust, surrender, and hope that have shaped her walk with God. The lead single, “Onyeoma (Good God)”—released on August 15—sets the tone with its vibrant anthem of gratitude and an accompanying music video that radiates Chinwo’s signature praise energy.
The album offers a rich and diverse collection of sounds, exploring various expressions of faith and worship. Highlights include: “None Like You” featuring Ghanaian worship leader MOGmusic, a powerful cross-border collaboration. “Heaven and Earth Adore You” and “My Lover,” which showcase her signature worship intimacy. “We Move,” an anthem of strength and forward faith. “Onyeoma (Good God),” already resonating with audiences globally.
Blending Afro-gospel rhythms with cinematic worship arrangements, In His Will captures Chinwo’s spiritual journey—from quiet moments of reflection to resounding victory.
“Each track on In His Will is born from what He has carried me through,” Chinwo shares. “This project is an invitation into a space of deep intimacy with God, where every challenge aligns with His perfect plan.”
