Nigerian gospel artist Hezekiah Abiodun joins forces with the anointed Vicky Praise to release a powerful new worship sound titled “Elyon.”
According to Hezekiah, “Elyon” was birthed from a deep spiritual encounter — a divine connection where “deep calleth unto deep.”
“It was on a blissful Thursday, October 4, 2025, during my usual office routine at midday,” Hezekiah recounts. “I got a YouTube notification for the song ‘Aladewura’ by Minister Dunsin Oyekan and decided to play it softly in the background while working.
It hadn’t even played for a minute when Minister Dunsin mentioned ‘Aladewura.’ Suddenly — BOOM! The words began to flow out of my spirit:
‘Elyon, You are Aladewura, Alade Ogo, No one else beside You…’
Both the verse and chorus came in that same moment. I had to stop everything to record and capture what God was releasing. Hallelujah!”
The title “Elyon” — meaning “The Most High” — perfectly encapsulates the heart of the song. It is more than music; it is a spontaneous expression of awe and reverence for the Sovereign God, the One crowned with glory and honor.
This soul-stirring collaboration between Hezekiah Abiodun and Vicky Praise brings a refreshing blend of heartfelt worship and powerful vocal delivery, drawing listeners into a deeper, tangible experience of God’s presence.
“Elyon” stands as a testament to divine inspiration — a sound birthed in the secret place, now released to awaken hearts to worship The Most High.
