Gospel powerhouse Tim Godfrey makes a triumphant return with his groundbreaking new album, No Label — a bold sonic journey designed to bridge the gap between gospel and mainstream music.
At its heart, No Label challenges the idea that gospel music must fit into a specific mold. With this project, Tim Godfrey fuses the spiritual depth of worship with the vibrant pulse of Afrobeats, creating a sound that resonates with both believers and a global audience. Each track embodies his conviction that faith can thrive on any rhythm, and that praise knows no boundaries.
The album features dynamic collaborations with Afrobeats sensations Oxlade and Spyro, blending faith and culture seamlessly. From the spirit-charged “Cho Cho Cho” to the anthemic “Praise The Lord”, and the Oxlade-assisted “Infinity” — which opens with the line “Me I never see wetin God cannot do…” — every song on No Label echoes themes of divine consistency and gratitude.
Adding further brilliance to the project is Masterkraft, whose production injects a modern groove into Tim Godfrey’s gospel sound. His craftsmanship gives the album a unique balance — faith-driven yet rhythmically vibrant, perfectly uniting worship and Afrobeats for global appeal.
As the visionary behind the acclaimed Fearless Gospel Concert — which has hosted icons such as Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Marvin Sapp, and Israel Houghton — Tim Godfrey has long been reshaping the sound of gospel in Africa. With No Label, he expands that legacy, ushering in a new era where worship meets world sound, and the message of Christ meets the language of rhythm.
“No Label is more than music; it’s a declaration of freedom — to express faith without limits, to create without walls, and to praise without labels,” says Tim Godfrey. “This is gospel redefined.”
