Topic: Being with Jesus
Text: Mark 3:14

What does being with Jesus accomplish?
1. Being with Jesus brings change of nature, place, position, manner, attitude, character, words or language, and destination.
2. Being with Jesus accomplishes the revelation of Jesus through us. This means knowing Him to make him known to others. John 1:7. You must make him known if you have been with Jesus. Jesus desires this for everyone who is a part of him. It is impossible to love someone and not talk about them. It is our responsibility to make Jesus known.
3. We are empowered to do what Christ did by being with him. John 14:12, we are enabled for greater works than Jesus when we are with him.
4. We are enabled to live like Christ, your life becomes patterned after the steps of Jesus. 1 Peter 2:21, His grace and power rubs off on you and you live and do things like him. Don’t be conformed to this world but be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus. Being with Jesus transforms your life. You do not live a life of duplicity. Being with Jesus has nothing to do with church attendance, you can be in church and not be with Christ.

Prayers
1. Lord Jesus, give me the grace to make you known. Make me restless till I have done your bid.
2. I receive the grace for greater works and greater results in every area of my life.
3. I make a commitment to follow the steps of Jesus and live like Christ in the name of Jesus.
4. Let Christ be revealed in the manner of my living, let men come to Christ through me in the name of Jesus.
