Text: Isaiah 40:31

Gaining strength in the inner man.

1.The major key to gaining strength in the inner man is Salvation, John 1:12.
2. Prayers: you stand taller on your knees, life’s challenges are settled on the knees. Daniel had a culture of prayer and this was his secret to standing out.
3. The tongues of fire: Praying in the Holy Ghost, building up yourself on your most Holy faith, Jude 1:20.
4. The gains of waiting: Isaiah 40:31, waiting on God does not affect God in any way. Fasting makes us humble and it makes it easier for us to submit to God’s will. It strengthens our inner man, places us at a stance of spiritual advantage and places the enemies under the soles of our feet. Spiritual muscles and strength are built by waiting on God. Fasting revitalizes your body, rejuvenates you, brings healing and renewal to you.
5. The discipline of studying God’s word: the word of God must dwell in you richly, Colossians 3:16. You must give room for the word of God, the word of God is capable of building you up. Let the word of God be as a rich treasure in your heart, Acts 20:32. The word builds you before giving you your inheritance. Your word base determines your success rate.

Prayers
1. I receive the strength and stamina to wait on the Lord in prayers and fasting.
2. Father, make me a master of all kinds as I wait on you in prayers and in the study of the word.
3. Father, let the word of Christ dwell in me richly, let it prosper me and let your name be glorified.
4. Father, help me to stand and walk on your word.
5. Father, strengthen me with might in my inner man by your spirit as I wait on you.
