Topic: Dealing with Pursuers Contd.
Text: Exodus 14:22-24
The children of Israel were enslaved in the land of Egypt for 430 years and God sent Moses to liberate the children of Israel with a message to Pharoah but Pharoah resisted. He questioned the Identity and authority of God. Pursuers query the identity and the authority of God in your life. Pharoah refused to let the children of Israel go. It is never the desire of your pursuer and oppressor to let you go. Pharoah gave up because of the high hand of God upon Egypt. Pharoah mustered his army and pursued the children of Israel to the Red Sea. God parted the Red Sea for the children of Israel to walk in the midst but Egyptians were drowned in the Red Sea. There are times when certain circumstances delay us and hinder us from moving forward. They cause delays in our lives to enable the pursuers to catch up with us. Today, I pray that the fire of the Lord will consume such barriers in the name of Jesus. Moses stretched his hands and the sea parted as a great wall to the left and the right. The sea stood as a defense for the children of Israel and the Eghyptians went after them. Whoever wants to pursue you through the way that God has prepared for you will kill himself in such an attempt. God troubled the army of the Egyptians. May God look down from heaven and trouble your pursuers and adversaries. Moses stretched the rod towards the sea again and it closed up on the Egyptians and they all drowned in the sea. The Pursuers of your life will be destroyed after the order of Pharoah in the name of Jesus. Have this confidence in God that He will not let pursuers get to you but he will consume them on your behalf in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, trouble my pursuers in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let the pursuers who refuse to give up concerning me perish after the order of Pharoah
3. I declare my freedom and liberty from everything or the person holding me bound. I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus and I declare my victory in Christ Jesus.
