Topic: The Holy Spirit Advantage
Text: Luke 24:49
Jesus knew the importance of power in the life of a believer hence he admonished the disciples to to wait until they received power for their assignment. The world is wicked, difficult, and highly competitive, therefore, anyone who will triumph requires power. The world answers to the advantaged. An advantage is something that helps you to be more successful than others. An advantage gives you an edge over others. It is an opportunity to win and prosper. It is divine preference, Daniel 6:3.
How do we gain divine advantage?
1. Location: Psalm 1:3, This tree received nourishment and moisture because it was planted by the rivers. Where you are planted is a determinant of the advantage you gain. This applies to life and business in general. Genesis 49:22, Psalm 92:13, those planted in the house of God will be fresh and flourishing. Remain planted in the courts of the Lord. Some have faced so many challenges that made them abscond from the house of the Lord and from the presence of the Lord. The Church of Jesus Christ is the ground and pillar of truth. It is the place of succour. Those who remain in the presence of God shall be fresh and flourishing.
Prayers
1. Father, I am planted in Christ Jesus my Lord and your presence and your courts, Let me flourish, prosper, and be evergreen. Please help me to bring forth fruits even in old age.
2. Father, this week, give me an edge over the others, an opportunity to win and prosper this week.
3. Father, I receive the grace and oil for divine preference.
4. Father, let me prosper in all my ways, let all I do produce results in the name of Jesus
