Topic: A New Chapter

I am persuaded in my spirit man, that not only will God open the heavens or a door for you this morning, this week, this month, and before this year is over, God is opening a new chapter for you.
God is a God of plans. He does nothing without plans for your life, for your destiny. The plans of God for every man happen in sequential order. The life of every man is like a written book or script. This script/book is opened in pages, chapters. Whatever you are experiencing at this very moment is a particular chapter in the book of your destiny.

In Genesis 37, through the Life of Joseph, we could see that a chapter opened for Joseph. It was a chapter of favour. His father loved him and preferred him to the other boys. His father gave him a coat of many colours. It was a chapter of favour in his life. When such a chapter is opened for a man, hatred is attracted. Joseph’s brothers hated him because of his dreams and because of his coat of many colours, because of this chapter of his life. This chapter of favour was followed by a very prolonged chapter wherein Joseph was sold into slavery for 13 years. It was a very ugly chapter in his life of hatred, slavery, lies, and imprisonment. But in Genesis 41, a new chapter was opened in the life of Joseph.

In Genesis 41:14, the Bible says, then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon, and he shaved, changed his clothing, and appeared before Pharaoh. A new chapter was opened for this young man at the age of 30 after 13 years of slavery, after 13 years of an unpleasant chapter in his life. I do not know how long you have been in the particular chapter that is unpleasant. It may be a chapter of forgetfulness where you have been forgotten by those who should help you, the chapter of delay, rejection. loneliness and helplessness. It may be similar to the case of the man at the pool of Bethesda, a closed case, a closed chapter not remembered at all by any.

I do not know the unpleasant chapter you are experiencing currently in which you desire God to change, I’m glad to announce to you that God has just opened a new chapter for you. It is a chapter of favour, progress, advancement, testimonies. Your story will change, and things will begin to happen in your life and your destiny.

When Pharaoh sent for Joseph, they brought him quickly out of the dungeon. This week, you are receiving a major call, a text message, email that will open a new chapter in your life and change your narratives completely. Get set for that Pharaoh, your own Pharaoh, your helper. The man assigned to lift your head will send for you. You get set for that. That is what God intends to do this week. He’s opening a new chapter for you. This new chapter God is about to open is not going to be for this week alone. It will be a new chapter in your life for the remainder of this year and always. Joseph never left that chapter, that chapter of blessing, that chapter of glory. God is ushering you into a chapter of glory. And you will not be taken away from that glory. You will not fall from the grace that God is bringing you into in the precious name of Jesus.

So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and what happened? The Bible says they brought him quickly out of the dungeon, and then he shaved and changed his clothing. These changes are taking place in your life and your destiny because God is set to open a new chapter for you—a chapter of glory, blessing, and testimonies in your life and destiny. In Job 37, You will see a chapter of adversity, an ill report, and a chapter of accusation. Job was accused to God. Job was said to be serving God because of the things he got from God—a chapter of trouble, torment, and pain. Job lost everything. His businesses, all his children. He lost all, including his health. What a lousy chapter and a prolonged chapter.

Respite came for Job in chapter 38. Chapters one to 37 was a chapter of silence. God was silent to Job despite his entreaties and cries. But in chapter 38, God broke his silence. God responded. God spoke about chapter 42 of the Book of Job. A new chapter was opened completely for this man. Job 42:10 says that the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. God restored when Job prayed. A new chapter was opened in his life. Job 42:11, the Bible says, then all his brothers and all his sisters and all those who had been his acquaintances before came to him and ate food with him in his house. They consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. Everybody gathered gold and silver for Job, and Job was made again. A new chapter was opened in the life of this man. God is opening a new chapter for you. I have this full conviction within my spirit, that someone reading this is coming back with the testimony of a new chapter in his life and destiny. You are that person that is coming back with the testimony of a new chapter. A new chapter is opened for you this morning. Heaven over you is opened and a new door is open. A new chapter is opened.

Prayer Focus
1. Father, let an end come to pain, losses, shame, disappointment, and rejection in my life and destiny in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let a new chapter open for me today. The chapter of advancement, Elevation, Restoration, Progress, and Advancement. Let this chapter open for me a new chapter.
3. Father, let my change happen this week. Father, let my change happen. Let me change from story to glory. Let me change from smallness to greatness. Let me change from poverty to prosperity. Let me change from rejection to acceptance. Let there be a change from barrenness to fruitfulness. Let there be a change from shortage to surplus to plenty in my life.
