Topic: The triumphant life
As earlier established, the natural tendency for man is to go ballistic or paranoid at the emergence of another person. Herod was angry that a rising star in Christ Jesus was emerging and terminated the lives of children, 2 years and below. Such tendency or characteristics is the attitude of an average man.
A triumphant life celebrates the succuss and advancement of others. He rejoices with people over their testimonies. Don’t ever get agitated or threatened by the success of another individual. Support the rising stars around you especially in the body of Christ.
Ways to hold your peace and not be threatened by the rising of others:
• Know your purpose and abide therein: you must realize, understand your purpose/calling and stay in it. John understood his calling and remained in it. He did not stray from it despite the accolades he received from men. Remain in your purpose and let God make you like he said to his disciples, “follow me and I will make you”.
• Stay secured in your purpose: Don’t try to be who or what you are not. This brings about competition.
• Don’t be competitive: life is all about complimenting each other and not about competition. You are only at liberty to compete with yourself particularly your past achievements and results. Get better than you have been. Being competitive makes you see other rising stars as enemies resulting in awaiting the failure of others. Competition will drain you of your strength while focusing on the strength of others.
Prayer
I declare that God will give you the grace to identify, develop and deploy your gifts and potentials and that you fulfill your purpose in life and in destiny. As you pursue your purpose, there will be results, accomplishments in your life and destiny. I pray that you understand your purpose and stay in it, that you will be secure. I pray the grace not to be competitive is released upon you now. The grace for self-improvement is imparted into your life. You will not be threatened by the rise of others around you. God will cause you to excel in your discovered purpose. Your pursuits will produce amazing results. You are enabled for optimal performance. Your ground shall bring forth plentifully. Your star will rise. God will raise people who will support your star. You will not be backward in life. Grace to rejoice and celebrate with others is released upon you. AMEN.
