Topic: Operating in the supernatural
Text: Ezekiel 37:1-10
The supernatural manifested through Prophet Ezekiel in the Valley of the Dry Bones. You must be a man of the spirit to operate in the supernatural. No man living in the flesh can experience the supernatural power of the Almighty God. The work of God cannot be done in the energy of the flesh. Genesis 1, the spirit of God was instrumental in the creation, and the birth of the church at Pentecost was instrumental and solely dependent on the power of the Holy Spirit. You must trust God completely to see the supernatural manifestation of God in your life just like Ezekiel did. God took him to the valley of the dry bones, he obeyed every instruction given to him by God because he trusted God. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3:16, painted and preached the gospel of trust by refusing to bow to the graven image whether or not God delivered them. You must trust in the ability of God not to mismanage your life and your destiny. Stay convinced in God even when things are not looking good.
You must have faith in God’s word and instructions. God instructed Ezekiel and he prophesied as commanded though the bones were very dry. Your attitude and response to the word and instructions of God will determine your operation in the supernatural. Do you have faith and speak according to God’s word and divine instruction? Ezekiel spoke based on the word of God. Do you say the things that God has said in His word or speak your fear? The supernatural does not manifest in the life of those who speak out after the sight of their eyes. The just shall live by faith. Ezekiel responded positively to the word of God.
A man who has faith in the word of God will not only speak the word but will take steps according to the word of God. You demonstrate faith when you speak those things God’s word has said concerning you. Speak as you desire to see and not as things are. God is up to something whenever he asks a question to which he already has an answer. He asked Ezekiel, can these bones live and Ezekiel replied “O Lord God, you know”. Ezekiel implied that there is no hope apart from God. Your confidence must be placed completely and absolutely in God. The very dry bones became an exceeding great army who stood on their feet and were not dependent on any, this mean that there is no hopeless situation in life. God is more than able to do exceedingly great things through you, He can bring forth great testimonies out of that hopeless situation. You must not go hopeless over your situation. If God could bring life out of the valley of the dry bones and they lived and became an exceeding great army, then your situation is not hopeless. Nothing shall be impossible with God. Your situation is not hopeless. Place your faith in God and speak like God would have you speak. Trust completely in God.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, I believe in You and my hope is completely in You, turn around this hopeless situation for me in the mighty name of Jesus.
2. Speak revival to every dead/dry thing in your life. Command them to come alive and begin to live
3. Father, help me stand firm on my faith and depend on no one but you. bring greatness out of my littleness and hopelessness in the mighty name of Jesus
