Topic: Factors that makes a triumphant life possible
1. Covenant Relationship with God: Esther 6:13. Mordecai had triumph over Haman because he was a seed of the Jew. John 1:12. We have received the power to become the sons of God by receiving Christ and believing on His name. Salvation, being born again is a major factor/ guarantee for living a triumphant life. Church membership does not guarantee salvation. Relationship with Christ gives assurance of victory over life’s battles. Saul first asked the question “who are you, Lord?” on his way to Damascus. Knowing Christ is the starting point of victory
2. Divine presence: 2nd Sam 5:10.
God’s presence makes victory possible in the life of a man. Exodus 33:15,14. Moses admitted that he and the children of Israel will not attain victory if they journeyed without God’s presence. Every success in the scriptures is traceable to God’s presence. The life of David is another picture of a man who triumphed because of God’s presence. Joseph prospered because the Lord was with him. Psalm 114:1-8 highlights the evidence and reality of God’s presence in the life of the Israelites. Let your elevation be traced to God’s presence.
3. The unction of the Holy one (God’s anointing): 1st Sam 16:13, 2nd Sam 5:17.
Psalm 92:10. No enthronement without anointing. David became famous after the anointing came on him, the anointing announced, emboldened, empowered him to be a conqueror. You shine and shine brighter with the anointing of God upon your life. A man without the anointing well have his life wasted by the enemies.
Prayer focus
1. Father, I am a seed of the Jews, let all who rise against me fall for my sake. Let not the enemies prevail against me.
2. Father, let your presence journey with me and give me success in every issue of life, bring me into success and triumph.
3. Father, release your unction and anointing for elevation, enthronement upon me. Let your oil cause me to shine. Let your oil announce me.
