Topic: Wings to Fly
Text: Revelation 12:13-15
Everyone that will fly/soar in life and destiny must be divinely helped. They must be given wings to fly, the wings of the great eagle
1. The wings of God’s mercy,
The mercy of God to shield and protect you, to save you from the punishment you deserve. Romans 3:23, all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, Romans 6:23 and the wages of sin is death. We are all guilty and should be sentenced to death but mercy came and rescued us from death. Lamentations 3:22, God renews His mercies to us daily. Psalm 32:2, Blessed is the man whose sins are forgiven.
2. The wings of God’s grace,
Grace is God’s vehicle for man’s speedy arrival at destiny, Grace is God’s ability in man’s disability. Grace is what God gives you that brings every other thing you desire. It is an unmerited gift of God.
3. The wings of power and wisdom,
1st Corinthians 1:24, The power and wisdom of God are wings needed to soar as a believer. Power and wisdom are generated via prayer and the word. Prayer produces power and the word produces wisdom. Christ Jesus has been made both the power and the wisdom of God. Power is necessary for accomplishment and fulfillment. The wings were given to the woman as a gift. Therefore, anyone flying was gifted with the ability to fly. Power can open doors but wisdom is needed to keep the doors perpetually open. You need the help of God to get to the place God has prepared for you. It is a place of provision and protection. You can ask God for wisdom, you must generate wisdom as you study the word of God and as you read books and fraternize with the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, I receive your mercy, grace, wisdom, and power to get to my prepared place in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let all I need to get to my prepared place in life and destiny be added to me in the name of Jesus.
3. Father help me, I need your help and gift to get to my place.
4. I take my place in life in destiny, in glory. I will not miss or lose my place.
