Text: 1 Chronicles 18:6
God gave David victories. He fought about 67 battles and he did not lose any of them. Every covenant carrier is born for victory and fights from the realm of victory because Christ Jesus already won the victory for us and we are walking in the victory won at the cross of Calvary. Leverage on the victory won by Christ Jesus and possess your possession, 1 John 5:4. Everyone born of God is a victor over the issues of life and the enemies. You can only garrison a conquered territory and David was indeed victorious. God gave David a foothold and a place among the contenders. God will give you a place among your contenders, you will be victorious like David, contentions cease and you will be given what belongs to you. You won’t miss your heritage.
After the victory of David, The Syrians became his servants, Your contenders will become your servants. God will put men under the soles of your feet. They will bring tributes and royalty to you. God intends to give you victory as this month winds to a close and make you a master, make men serve you, and give you a place.
The Lord Preserved David, God will preserve you. David fought the 67 battles not because he was strong, righteous, or holy, he did because God preserved him. We must seek God’s approval, blessings, and preservation in all we do. David and his men fought against the Philistines and one of the sons of the giants almost killed David but God preserved him through Abishai who succoured him. You need God to preserve you in the battles and challenges of life. God preserves us by sending timely help and timely resources. Resources will be available to you to handle the issues of your life. It’s a fact that money cannot solve all things but certain situations require money as the solution. So many people have passed on because they could not afford their medical bills and requirements. They cannot afford the resources for their preservation but God will make resources available for your life and preserve your dignity (as a father) and family.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, give me victory in every aspect of my life. Make me victorious.
2. Father, make room for me, among giants, great men, and competitors in business.
3. Father, make men serve me. Make me a champion. Let tribute and royalties be paid to me, and give me creative ideas that will generate great resources.
4. Father, you have preserved me till now, continue to preserve me wherever I go, and do not deliver me to the will of my enemies.
