Topic: Born to conquer
Text: Colossians 1:13
Jesus was born to conquer darkness and to deliver us from the power of darkness. We have been translated from the power of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s dear son. The birth of Christ Jesus was to establish a new Kingdom, a different Kingdom, and ensure a translation from the slave market of sin and satan, and then bring us into the Eternal Kingdom of the most high God. So you and I are now delivered from the power of darkness, and darkness has lost its influence or grip over our lives. John 1:5,9, Jesus is the true light, the light that shines in darkness and darkness could not and cannot comprehend. You have no reason to be afraid of darkness or the works of darkness because Jesus has conquered the powers of darkness. Christ was born to conquer Sin, to conquer sickness, to conquer Satan, to conquer the works of Satan, to conquer curses, and to conquer darkness.
Christ came to conquer fear, fear, fear has torment.There is no love in fear, but perfect love casts away all kinds of fear. Luke 1:72-76 John the Baptist came to prepare the way for the Lord, and this prophecy was not just about John the Baptist, but what God is about to do through Jesus Christ, who was about to be born. To deliver us from the power of darkness, to deliver us out of the hands of our enemies. So we might serve God without fear. Fear paralyzes, fear destroys, fear kills even before death. Fear and worry are Siamese twins that destroy very fast. Don’t allow fear and anxiety of any kind in your life. You are to serve God without fear all the days of your life. Don’t be afraid of the unknown. Don’t be afraid of failing. Don’t be afraid of trying. Don’t be afraid of darkness. Don’t be afraid of the enemy. Don’t be afraid of witches or wizards. Don’t be afraid of cockroaches. Don’t be afraid of rodents. Don’t allow fear. You cannot claim to be living in faith and still entertain fear in your life. Christ Jesus was born to destroy fear so we can serve God without fear in righteousness and in holiness all the days of our lives.
He was born to conquer death. Hebrews 2:14-15. Don’t be afraid of death. Jesus Christ has conquered death. He has swallowed up death in victory. Not only did he destroy the power of death, he also destroyed the fear of death, and so he can release those who, through fear of death, were all their lives, subject to bondage. Every man on earth on this planet Earth will die one day if Christ tarries. We will all die one day, but my prayer is that you will not die prematurely. You will live and fulfill the number of your days. 1 Corinthians 15:51-57, God has given us the victory over death through Christ Jesus our Lord, but those who refuse to embrace Christ, who refuse to accept the work of his coming, who refuse to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior after death, they will be partakers of the second death, where they will roast in hell forever.
Prayers
1. Lift up your voice and prayers and begin to thank God for the victory that you have through Christ Jesus our Lord. I have victory over sin. I have victory over sickness. I have victory over Satan. I have victory over the works of Satan. I am victorious over curses over the works of darkness and darkness. Victorious over fear and over death. Thank you for giving me the victory in Jesus Precious name.
2. I bind and I cast out the spirit of fear from my life and destiny in the name of Jesus. Fear you will not paralyze my initiatives. You will not paralyze me. You will not destroy me.
3. In the name of Jesus, I walk in victory. I am not a slave to fear. I am not in bondage to the fear of death. I have life in Christ Jesus. I overcome death in the name of Jesus. I walk in victory. I walk in Dominion by the power of the living God in Jesus precious name.
