Text: Isaiah 41:10-12
1. Fear Not: Fear is a major thing that paralyzes initiative in life and destiny. Fear has torment. The fearful will never be able to achieve or accomplish anything in life and destiny. People are afraid of the unknown, many are afraid of failure. Many are afraid to take steps. What if it fails, has always been their fear? What if it does not work? What if I suffer losses? What if I buy that land and somebody else takes it from me? Fear paralyzes initiatives. Gideon gave out the battle cry and invited people to join the army to fight the Lord’s battle. God had assured that he would deliver the Midianites into the hands of Gideon and the men who were with him. 32,000 men joined Gideon ready for battle. God told Gideon the men were too many. God asked Gideon to make an announcement requesting those who were afraid to return home and with a simple announcement, 22,000 out of 32,000 men went back because of fear. Don’t be afraid of failing. You will not fail. And even if you fail, failure is never final. Failure is an opportunity for you to start over again and do it better. Don’t allow fear to stop you.
God says “Fear Not, because I am with you”. The presence of God eliminates fear. Except you do not know who your God is. The presence of God guarantees you rest. Oh, I love Moses, a man who took advantage of the presence of God, a man who would not move on unless God was present with him. Moses told God, If your presence will not go with us, don’t take us from here and God assured him, “My presence will go with you and I will give you rest”. The same God is saying I am with you. The presence of God is your greatest asset to a life of victory. The presence of God is your greatest asset to arriving at the place of your divine destiny
2. I will Strengthen you. Everybody needs strength to get to his place in life and destiny. You need strength to go through the journey and run the race of 2024. Elijah was tired, fed up, and became suicidal. God gave him strength for his journey. Every man who becomes suicidal lacks strength for his journey. God is promising you strength for the journey of 2024, so you won’t despair. You won’t be tired. You won’t be weary. You won’t give up. You won’t fail. You won’t fall by the wayside because God is saying I will strengthen you and you know strength is in different areas. God said I will strengthen you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Financial strength. God is saying I will strengthen you financially. Spiritual strength. God is saying I will strengthen you. You have no reason to fear because God is with you and will strengthen you.
Prayers
1. Father, I thank you for the promise of your presence. I thank you because you are with me in 2024. Your presence will journey with me throughout this year. Your presence will give me rest on every side.
2. I banish every form of fear from my life and destiny because God is with me. I will not be afraid in the name of Jesus,
3. Father, according to your Word, strengthen me for the journey of 2024
