Topic: 7 days of praise
Text: Exodus 15:1-3
The year is 7 days old. It’s the first Sunday of the year. We gather in the presence of God today to give our New Year praise. For the next seven days, we’re going to begin to offer Thanksgiving and praises to God. In this program, we will praise him, and bless Him for seven days. The Lord is perfecting everything that concerns you, He is bringing you into greater glory. The glory of the Lord will be seen upon your life. The Lord is bringing you into a place that he has prepared for you and one major way to get to the place that God has prepared is the key of David, the key of praise. We will praise God, exalt, and worship Him so that the earth can yield her increase unto us.
The children of Israel escaped Pharaoh and his host. They escaped the Red Sea, crossed over to the other side of the Red Sea, and saw their enemies drowned and destroyed. They lifted their voices to God. They sang. The Bible says Moses and the children of Israel sang to the Lord. You have crossed over the year 2023 by the power and the grace of the Almighty God. You have seen the destruction of those things that wanted to end your life, that wanted to crush you in 2023 but, by the grace of God, you are still standing. Those things did not crush you. God has brought you into the year. He has made you victorious. You crossed over into the year 2024 and just like Moses and the children of Israel, you need to lift your voice and sing your praises to God.
Let’s also start on daily impact as we give our new year Thanksgiving and we will do this for the next seven days. So like Moses and the children of Israel, we want to sing praises to the Lord, our God. We want to thank him for bringing us into the New Year. May the Lord accept your praise in the precious name of Jesus. I pray that your praises will ascend to God as a sweet-smelling savour. The Lord who gave you victory over 2023 will cause you to triumph over this year you will see the end of 2024 and you will be alive this time in 2025 to bless the name of the Lord to give him thanks for causing you to see the end of the year again. I pray that this year will yield her increase to you. The God of heaven will bless you in the precious name of Jesus.
