Change is the only constant thing in life. Lack of change breeds frustration, despondency and causes a man to go into depression. There must be changes towards the positive direction. The word is the reality I must experience in my life and not what I’m facing at the moment. God designed us for the best and we must engage in thinking to bring out the best in us. You must also change your association.
Prayers: Jabez was discontented with the state and pattern in his family. They were all bearing children and there was no significance in the family. Jabez wanted more so he prayed. He asked God to divinely interrupt the story of his lineage and bring a change to his life. Jabez implied that he was more than his father’s house. Prayer is key for a man who wants total transformation. There are forces that want heads to remain bowed in families. You must react for a change. This was the disposition of Jabez and he prayed to God for a change. God granted Jabez all he asked for, Jeremiah 33:3, James 5:13-14. Prayers changes situations and terminates afflictions. God is a prayer answering God and not a prayer storing God. There is nothing that prayers cannot change.
Prayers
1. Oh God, bless me indeed, enlarge my coast, change my situation. I am more than this, bring me into my change.
2. I am better than my father’s house, take me beyond the limits of my father’s house. Divinely interrupt every negative flow and terminate it. What stopped them will not stop me.
