Topic: Lessons from the Death and Resurrection of Christ
All that Jesus did including His death and resurrection was for our lessons to guide us in living a successful life.
1. There will be enmity against your life and destiny if you are a star. No Star desires the rising of another star. Herod was afraid of another star rising when he was still shining and he tried to eliminate every possibility without leaving stones unturned because he wasn’t certain who the star was. As a star, stop flaunting your achievement because there are other stars who are not interested in allowing other stars to shine. They are lying in wait to devour other stars.
2. John 7:12, people’s opinion about you would always differ hence do not depend on the opinion of people. Don’t allow your destiny to be swayed by the opinions of others. The opinion of people is short-lived. Acts 28:4, Paul was called a murderer because of the viper and was declared a god as soon as he remained unhurt from the venom of the viper. The opinion of people is based on their perception and it is momentarily. Your good works/qualities will be tagged as offensive to those who do not have the same value as you. You will offend some people by refusing to participate in bribery. People who praise you today will work against you tomorrow.
3. The world will hate you for doing good, don’t stop doing good, 1 John 3:13.
4. Those who shout Hosannah to you today will shout crucify him tomorrow. Didn’t commit yourself to anyone. You may be thoroughly disappointed.
Prayers
1. Father, I am a star, let my star and destiny be divinely protected. Let my light shine in darkness. Be my defence and let your name be glorified.
2. Father, give me the grace not to be disturbed by the negative words of people. Help me not to be swollen headed by the positive words of people about me.
3. Father, let my life, ways, words and works be pleasing to you.
