Topic: The Sacrifice for a Great Harvest
Text: Exodus 4: 2,17, 20
The Rod of Moses became the rod of God after he Had an encounter with God. The Rod have him support. We can refer to the rod as Moses’s instrument of operation. Moses leaned on his rod for strength and support. God taught Moses a lesson to never hold anything tightly. The same rod he held tightly was thrown down and it became a serpent and Moses fled from the rod he loved so much, God asked him to pick it up by the tail and it became a rod again and this time it was no longer the rod of Moses but the rod of God as seen in Exodus 4:20. Moses gave up total confidence in the rod to God. There was hardly any Miracle that Moses performed in Egypt without the Rod of God. What he tightly held on to and eventually released became an instrument of productivity and results in his hands. Acknowledge that your gifts and talents are from God and belong to God. Great Miracles were recorded when Moses surrendered his rod to God. Be ready to give up whatever you hold tightly to, God may call for a release of it, be ready to let it go because it will attract more blessings and productivity to your life.
Peter allowed Jesus to use his instrument of business in Luke 5:1-5 and the result after that was a great catch or harvest of fish. His business just failed and he had nothing to show for his efforts yet he gave his boat to Jesus and the result was a net breaking and boat sinking harvest. John 6:5-8, the lad released his lunch pack to Jesus. Five loaves of bread and two fishes became a bountiful harvest that fed a multitude and there was an excess of 12 baskets. What must you release to get your harvest? Everyone who got a great harvest released something.

1. Sweet Holy Spirit, I release myself to you, I release all that I have to you, use all for your glory in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, let my life produce great harvest and result to the praise and glory of your name. Make me profitable and productive in life and destiny.
