Topic: Overcoming the Sepulchre
Text: Matthew 27:62-66
There are four things Jesus overcame which we must overcome as believers as well.
1. Sepulchre
2. Stone
3. Soldiers
4. Seal
The sepulchre or grave is anything that hides the life or destiny of a man. Any destiny or business in the grave is abandoned. This may be the reason you appear forgotten even by people you have been good and benevolent to. A destiny in the grave is finished, his case is closed. Jesus overcame the grave and He has given you the victory as well. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Jesus called out the destiny of Lazarus from the grave. You have the same responsibility/ ability to call out your destiny from the sepulchre. A business in the grave will lack patronage and success. I declare that your closed cases will be divinely opened in the name of Jesus. Ezekiel 37:12, God’s promise of resurrection is that He will open your grave and bring you out of the grave. Jesus defeated the Sepulchre and He has bequeathed the same power to you, to overcome your grave/ sepulchre.
Prayers
1. I overcome the power of the grave/sepulchre by the reason of the resurrection of Christ. My destiny is out of grave.
2. I call my destiny, health, success, business etc out of the grave in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, according to your word, open my grave, bring me out of the grave and bring me into my promised land.
