Topic: The Blessings of His Presence
Text: Exodus 33: 15,14
One of the necessities of dominion for a fruitful life is the presence of God. The presence of God with a man guarantees success for his journey, it is perhaps the greatest asset a man can boast of. Moses knew this and insisted on not starting a journey without God’s presence how amazing it must have been when God assured Moses of His presence and rest. There are certain benefits/blessings of God’s presence that Moses was aware of.
1. The blessing of direction: Psalm 84:11. The Lord is a sun to lead and illuminate. Isaiah 58:11, May the Lord guide you continually. You can’t walk into disaster when being directed. You can’t walk into mistakes/errors when God is the one showing you the way.
2. The blessing of protection: God’s presence guarantees protection. He is a shield from the arrows that fly either by night or noonday, against the attacks and the onslaught of the enemies. The presence of God can take you through any route. His presence leads you through the valley of the shadow of death without any hurt/harm.
3. The blessings of rest: The presence of God gives and guarantees rest. Exodus 33: 14.
4. The presence of God opens doors and breaks chains: Acts 16:25-26. God’s presence will go with you this week and cause doors to be open and chains to be broken for you this week in Jesus name. Amen.
5. The blessings of prosperity: Gen 39:2,21. God’s presence made Joseph prosperous in all he did, in Potiphar’s house and the prison.
Prayer Focus.
1. Father, guide me continually this week, this month, the remaining days of this year, show me the way.
2. Father, I receive the protection of your presence this week and every day of my life. Be my shield and
buckler.
3. Father, I will not be troubled in any way this week, let me find rest in your presence.
4. Father, let every door I knock this week open for me and let chains break off my legs in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, let your presence prosper me in all I do, even in adversity.
