Topic: Christ is with you
Text: Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus gave the disciples an instruction to go into the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to observe all that is taught. Jesus also gave them the key that would make it happen without much stress. There is nothing that you do for God that will not require effort. Jesus gave them the clue to a successful ministry, life, family, etc. He said, “Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age”.
Man’s number one factor for a life of color and impact is God’s presence. The situation of a man will remain the same until God shows up. A turnaround is inevitable when God shows up. I see God show up for you this week to bring about a divine turnaround of your situation. God’s presence is man’s greatest asset for a life of dignity, color, and impact. When it appears that God is not showing up as required, remember that God is with you.
The Cherokee Indian youth’s rite of passage into manhood requires a father to lead his son into a forest where he sits on a tree stump all night with a blindfold on till the rays of morning sun shines through it. He cannot cry for help to anyone and once he survives the night he becomes a man. He cannot share this experience with any lad because they must all pass through the same rite. He sits calmly although he is terrified. When he removes his blindfold, he discovers his father had been with him all night protecting him from danger. You are not alone in your night season. You must understand that God is with you, He’s watching over you and busy planning your next testimony even in His silence. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Exodus 33:15 & 14. Moses insisted he would not go anywhere without the presence of God and God assured Moses of His presence and rest. Luke 5:17, The presence of God makes miracles, healings and great works possible. Doors open at the instance of His presence. God is showing up on your behalf this week. He is with you and His presence will be made manifest in your situation in the precious name of Jesus.
Prayer Focus
Father, manifest Your presence in my life, in my situation this week and always
Father, let your presence open closed doors before me, make crooked paths straight and make me successful in my endeavors
Father, show up on my behalf in my darkest moment. Reveal Yourself in my darkest moment Show up as the I AM in the storms of life and calm every raging storm saying PEACE BE STILL.
