Topic: Fear not, Go forward, God is with you
Text: Exodus 14:13-15
Moses gave instructions to the Children of Israel. He instructed them not to be afraid. Do not be afraid in the face of Difficulty. God is the God of advancement and He wants you to make progress. You must not give room for fear in your life. Fear has torment, fear will destroy your faith and open the door for the enemy to attack. God asked the children of Israel to go forward. He expects you to do something about your situation. He doesn’t just want you to cry to Him, He wants you to play your role.
How can I go forward?
Matthew 28:20. Jesus said He is with us always. The presence of God is the catalyst for divine advancement in the face of difficulties and obstacles. You can go forward despite the red sea, you can press on despite the Jordan. A man that carries the presence of God is unstoppable. 2nd Samuel 5:10:
So David went on and became great, and the Lord God of hosts was with him. David became great despite all the oppositions that stood before him because he was a carrier of God’s presence.
God was present with the children of Israel at the bank of the red sea and he commanded them to go forward. God is saying to you “I am aware of the challenges, obstacles and difficulties before you and I’m asking you to Go forward”. Don’t wait for change, go and make the change happen. A man who waits for change may waste in wait. Make your change happen, the Lord is with you. Make that call, submit that CV, it’s my prayer that God will reveal to you what you need to do to bring about your change.
Prayer Focus
1. I defy every opposition, challenge and red sea on my path to destiny. I defy you and I press on.
2. Father, I refuse to stand still, show me what I need to do for my story to change
3. Let your presence advance me in life and destiny. As you advanced Moses, Aaron and David, let your presence advance me in life and destiny
