Topic: The Presence of God
Text: Psalms 114:3-7
God’s presence removes obstacles on a man’s path to greatness. Obstacles are a part of life, but many give up and surrender their destiny to those circumstances. Obstacles are there to prevent you from arriving at the place God has destined for you. Obstacles cannot withstand the presence of the Almighty God. The red sea fled at the instance of the presence of God. There’s no mountain, Hill, Valley or sea that can stand against the presence of God. They will all flee when HE shows up.
The presence of God destroys the enemies of a man’s destiny. There are enemies like Goliath, like Saul to ensure you do not get to your throne, but the Bible says in Psalms 9:3 “When mine enemies are turned back, They shall fall and perish at thy presence”. Your enemies will turn back, fall and perish at God’s presence.
God’s presence guarantees your rest. Exodus 33:15 &14. Progress is unattainable where there’s no peace and rest. A man without rest can never make any meaningful progress in life and destiny. Psalms 46:7-11: “The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, What desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge”. God is with us and He gives us victory over the adversaries of our lives and destinies.
There are enemies strategically positioned at different stages of life, that’s why you must remain a man of His presence, a man of the altar, waiting on God in prayers and fasting.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, let obstacles, oppositions and hurdles on my path to glory be totally removed today.
2. Father, let your presence give me rest and I will make progress.
3. Decree judgement upon the enemies of your destiny. Declare that they fall and perish.
