J-bass has emerged the winner of the Annual Gospel Music Award for the Best Guitarist of the year.
J-bass among other nominees was declared winner at the award event which took place at Havana Royal hall beside university of Ibadan, Ibadan Oyo state on the 15th of December 2019.
Joy Peters popularly known as J-BASS is a Nigerian female Bass guitarist, music coach, and computer scientist.
She started her professional musical journey as a Bassist in 2015 in Planet Shaker music acedemy lokoja Kogi state. Where she was retained as a music instructor and moved to Abuja to forward her mission.
She has played and performed on many great platforms along with most renowned musicians and bands, like Planet Shakers Nigeria, Bidemi Sax, Zealight, Owie Abutu, Akas O, Jerry Omole, CGMi (The Grace Place), and a lot more to mention but as few. And had also shared the same stage with many renowned stars.
Her slogan is…..believe in yourself. You have everything, the only person that can see that is you .
Ignore the name people call you and trust who you are .
The thing that matter most is what you think of yourself.
