RCCG Pastor Regains Freedom From Kidnappers Den

Pastor  Olugbenga Olawore, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) regains freedom after being kidnapped alongside other passengers.

It was reported that the man of God was kidnapped with other passengers at Maya, on Lanlate-Eruwa Road around 5pm, after making plans for his mother’s burial.

Confirming the release of the victims, the Oyo State Government through Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Commissioner for Information, said;

“our people should be rest assured that our security apparatus in the state are fully alive and alert to their responsibilities.”

“The State Government is monitoring and gauging the security situations within its boundary efficiently.

“Since the incident was reported, the government has been in close contact with the state Commissioner of Police, Hamzat Adebola, his team and our security teams and all parties have done the needful as usual to ensure the safety of lives and property of our citizens.” He stressed.

Prince Oyelade, having announced the pastor’s freedom, stated that Oyo state remains the most peaceful state in the federation.
