Topic: Points about the Glory

• You are a creature of glory and you are designed for glory. Psalm 8:4-5. You are covered in glory and honour.  You must have the understanding that you are not created for failure or stories but for glory and honour. You are not a creature of dishonour. The glory bestowed upon man made the angels envious and they inquired of God the reason for the favour He bestowed upon man.
• The Glory will show: the glory may appear hidden and not manifesting at the moment, all you may see now may be hardship and toilings, do not worry because the scripture in Romans 8:18 declares that there is glory to be revealed in you which cannot be compared to the suffering of the present times. Great glory is coming to be revealed in you. When the glory comes, it will swallow up the pains, problems, challenges etc. The blessings and miracles that will make you forget the pains of the past are coming. When the glory came for Joseph, he forgot the pains of his father’s house and he named his first son Manasseh. You will completely forget about the unpleasant situations you are experiencing at the moment when the glory comes.
• What is needed for the glory to show? Isaiah 60:1-2. There is a need to arise for the glory to show. You cannot sit or stand still and expect to see the glory of God in your life. You must arise and work to experience the glory, it does not come in a vacuum.

1. You must be planted by the rivers of waters: Genesis 49:22. The well/river supplies water for a fruitful bough to blossom. Psalm 1:3, you must be planted by the water, you must be planted in Christ Jesus to arise and reveal the glory of God. Christ is the epitome and express image of God’s glory. Be planted in the house of the Lord. Those planted in the courts of the Lord will flourish in His house. You fellowship with the people of God to make an impact. Only a planted tree can make an impact.
2. You must be dutifully engaged. Your hands must find something to do. You must be fully involved in your endeavours. Proverbs 22:29. God wants you to take your place before kings. You must be diligent and hardworking to be in the midst of excellent people and take your place among kings. Diligence makes you an expert. Skilled workers stand out and do not take the back seat. Those good at their work will be in demand and be admired. Romans 12:11.
3. You must have faith in the name of Jesus. Mark 4:26-27, faith in God and the name of Jesus will cause your glory to be seen.

• Your glory will be defended: Isaiah 4:5. A glory that is not defended will be wasted and tampered with by the enemy. Your glory is defended only in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Focus

1. Father, I am designed for glory, let that glory show. Let your glory be seen at every point of my life in the precious name of Jesus.
2. Father, lead me to the right thing to do for your glory to show.
3. Father, defend my glory in the mighty name of Jesus.
