Benefits of Prayer and Fasting
1. The release of strength and Power for our journey. Isaiah 40:31
2. The fulfillment of Prophecies: 1 Timothy 1:18, you’re to war with prophecies and not sleep over them. Jesus’s Messianic ministry could not find expression until he prayed and fasted. You need to wait on the Lord in prayer and fasting to activate God’s promises over your life. Luke 4:18, scriptures were fulfilled over Jesus because He waited on God. Every hanging prophecy over your life will be fulfilled in the name of Jesus. Your word will not be prolonged, your prophecies will be fulfilled in the name name of Jesus.
3. Expedited answers to prayers: Isaiah 58:9, fasting makes your prayers find speedy answers. Things happen fast when you fast.
4. Fasting breaks yokes and sets free: Fasting is set for the deliverance of mankind. Yokes are broken when you fast. You’re set free from the bondage of the enemies when you wait on the Lord in the place of fasting and prayers. Whatever yoke of the enemy in your life is totally broken as you wait on the Lord in prayer and fasting in Jesus name.
5. Healing and health: Isaiah 58:8, There’s a huge benefit of intermittent fasting, staying away from food cleanses and detoxifies your system. The body gets rejuvenated. Fasting must be with wisdom and not without advice and direction.
6. Divine guidance: Isaiah 58:11, divine direction and guidance brings a man to distinction in life. You do not know the way but God does and He can properly guide and lead you to the right place. You will be divinely guided and directed. God will guide you continually and prosper you in all you do.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, let there be a fulfillment of Prophecies and performance of promises concerning me in the name of Jesus.
2. Powers and forces prolonging my word, be consumed by fire today in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, let every yoke over my life and destiny be totally broken in the mighty name of Jesus.
4. Father, I receive divine healing from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet.
5. Father, guide me divinely and continually, order my steps, thoughts and words in the name of Jesus.
