Text: Exodus 33:13-15
Securing Access into God’s Presence
1. Praise: Psalm 100:4, The Praise of God brings you into God’s presence and brings God’s presence down to you regardless of the situation, Acts 16:25-26. Praise brings God’s presence into our situation, 2 Chronicles 20, Jehoshaphat and the men of Judah were faced with challenges and they fixed their eyes on God and switched to praising God. God destroyed their enemies before them. Learn to always praise God if you want a turnaround in your situation.
2. Faith: Romans 5:2, your faith in God must be strong and unmovable for access into God’s presence. We have access with confidence and boldness through faith.
3. Intercession: Acts 12, the church interceeded for Peter after James was killed by Herod. God stepped in and sent an angel of the open door who released Peter from the prison. Prayer brought the divine presence for Peter’s rescue from the prison. The more time spent in the place of prayer, the more of God’s glory and presence radiated in your life.
4. The grace and the mercy of God: mercy does not give us the judgment we deserve and grace gives us the gifts or blessings we do not deserve. Hebrews 4:16, we are to come boldly to the throne of grace for mercy and grace in the time of need.
5. The blood of Jesus: Hebrews 9:12, the veil of the temple was torn in twain thereby giving us access into God’s presence, Hebrews 10:19, we have boldness to enter into God’s presence by the blood of Jesus. God sees the blood of Jesus when you appear before Him.
Prayers
1. Father, I receive boldness to come into your presence, let your presence turn things around in my life.
2. Father, I come boldly to the throne of grace, let me obtain mercy and find grace to help in this time of need.
3. Father, do not take your presence from me, help me not to do anything that will take me away from your presence
4. Father, let your presence open doors for me, make a difference, and settle things in my life today and this week in the name of Jesus.
