Topic: The Prayer and Fasting Dynamite
Text: Isaiah 58:6-14
Problems entered into the world through food, the inability of Adam and Eve to control their appetite brought mankind into untold hardship and ruin but Christ redeemed us from the slave market entered by his blood. To resolve the genesis of problems, we need to stay away to meet with God, receive strength and power. One of the enemy’s targets is to make you incapable of staying away from food or your appetite. Fasting is abstaining from certain basic necessities or nourishment of body and life.
Fasting helps your spirit’s connectivity. Isaiah 58:8, fasting enhances breakthrough in the life of a man. Waiting on the Lord brings about the manifestation of God’s glory. Set apart a time weekly to wait on God. Matthew 17:19-21, You become a master of all kinds by prayer and fasting. Put your flesh under subjection to be spiritual and not sensual. Strengthen your spiritual senses through prayer and fasting. Fasting and prayer unleashes divine favour. Esther obtained favour when she and the Jews fasted and prayed and God turned things around in their favour. There is a frustration of the enemy’s agenda when you fast and pray. The agenda of Haman for Mordecai was destroyed when the Jews fasted and prayed, Esther 4:16. Fasting changes protocols and rules. Nehemiah fasted and prayed and found favour with the king who gave him all he needed for his journey, Nehemiah 1:4. Add fasting to your daily routine. The picture of a man’s future is found in his daily routine. Build a relationship with God and hear God’s agenda for your life directly, you do not need any one to enslave you and mediate between you and God, sharpen your spiritual antenna in prayer and fasting.

1. Father, let your glory be revealed upon me, usher me into the realm of your glory as I wait on you in prayer and fasting.
2. Father, surround my life and family with your favour as I wait on you.
3. The remaining days of this year, let me see your hands, don’t let me end this year on an empty note.
