Topic: God’s instruction
Text: Acts 12:1-16

God expects you to rise up and do something about your situation. You are responsible for initiating the change you trust God for. He expects you to pray and take steps in the direction of the prayer you have released.
Exodus 14:10, the children of Israel murmured about the Red Sea and the host of Egyptian armies coming after them, Moses told them to stand still and see God’s salvation and cried to God but God instructed him to ask the children of Israel to Go forward. God expected them to take steps in spite of the opposition standing before and behind them. Do something, take steps toward your expectations and God will prosper it. Pray and do something about your situation.

God has also promised to send you help in that situation. God will send help and helpers to you. He will not allow the enemy to close in on you. he will not deliver you to the will of the enemy. God sent help to Peter the night He should have been killed. God will step into your matter, He will not let you see shame. Angels of help will be sent to help your situation and open doors for you. You will be delivered of the negative expectations of the wicked. Evil expectations concerning you will fail woefully and totally.

God has promised that a major door, a gate that has been closed against you will be opened. Certain gates will open to you on their own accord. God has instructed you to knock. Knock on the door(s) you have knocked on before, it (they) will open. You must be persistent in Knocking. Acts 12:13, 16, Peter knocked persistently when Rhoda did not open the door for him out of excitement. Don’t give up. {ersistence wears of resistance.

Forget the events and happenings of the past, don’t allow them to pull you back and hold you down. Peter gave up because James was killed, so he slept in the prison rather than pray. The failures of others have nothing to do with your life. Attempt and do not quit. Do not allow your past failures to hinder you from taking steps. God will make the things he has said concerning you happen speedily. It will come to pass.

Prayers
1. Father, Deliver me from the negative expectations of the people. Let negative expectations projected towards my life fail in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, I receive the grace and direction to knock on the right doors.
3. Father, let every door I knock this week open to me in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, let doors I have knocked on in times past be open for me today and this week
