Topic: Elevation
Elevation is the lifting of God upon the life of a man. It also means ascent, and promotion.
Ps 75:6-7
There are 2 dimensions of elevation
1. God dimension
2. Man dimension
God is very significant. He is a primary factor for elevation.
Any faith that makes God absolutely responsible for the outcome of a man’s life is an irresponsible faith. Every man has a role to play in his success or failure. No man can fail without his cooperation and no man can succeed without his participation.
Psalm 92:10
Factors from the God dimensions of lifting
1. Divine election (favor of God) Psalm 75:6-7, Romans 9:11-16. A man is chosen by God’s mercy for elevation eg Solomon was divinely elected over Adonijah. 1st kings 2:12-15. Divine election turns things in a man’s favour. God is turning things in your favour today.
2. Divine endowment: Matthew 25:15. God gives gifts to everyone according to his several ability. Every man is born naked but loaded and gifted. You are loaded with abilities, gifts and talents for the benefit of mankind and advancement of God’s kingdom
3. Divine Enduement (Power) Luke 24:49. Divine empowerment is required to ascend to the height God ordained for you. Luke 10:19. You cannot be given gifts without power. No manifestation can happen in life without empowerment.
4. Divine enablement (Grace). 1st Corinthians 15:9-10. You are enabled to perform and use the gift of God upon your life.
5. Divine assistance (help): Isaiah 41:14, Isaiah 50:7. God promised to help and Isaiah was sure and he said “I know God will help me”. You must have an understanding that God who has promised will not fail. He will help you
Prayer focus:
• Father, surround my life with your favour and let me be elected for promotion and elevation.
• I receive power and grace for elevation
• I receive help and divine assistance for lifting in life and destiny.
