Topic: Factors Responsible for Success and Accomplishment
Text: 2 Peter 1:2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Three basic and vital factors outlined in the text are responsible for success and accomplishment in a man’s life. They are not negotiable if you will arrive at the place destined for you by God.
Grace: Apostle Peter prayed for the multiplication of grace. In Ephesians 3:20, God can do exceeding, abundantly above all you can think or ask according to the power at work in you. A man gets results according to the level of grace at work in his life. We all need the multiplication of grace to enjoy God to the fullest. Grace is what a man gets to acquire every other thing he needs in life. It is God at work in the affairs of a man. It is God’s strength in man’s weakness. It is the ability in the disability of a man. May grace not be lacking in your life and destiny. There are levels and dimensions of grace. Everyone gets results at his level of grace. I pray that God will pour out His grace upon you abundantly and that you make achievements beyond your ability, skills, and, qualifications. Grace at work determines the opening of the heavens upon a man. Grace takes a man beyond his background. Peter acknowledged that there are many wonderful things God has made available to us for life and godliness, things of exceeding great and precious promises however, these are obtained by the grace of God. Grace has to be multiplied to you for achievement.
Peace: Peace is essential and not negotiable to attain your purpose in life. If you must get to the place ordained for you by God, peace must be intact. You must have the peace of God. (Shalom), nothing missing, nothing broken. A man who lacks peace will not be able to pursue his dreams. The presence of turmoil, troubles, wars, and battles will hinder a man from making achievements. A lack of peace paralyzes a man’s initiative. May your initiative not be paralysed and may your hands not be weakened in the name of Jesus. God has to keep you in perfect peace for you to achieve. I admonish you to keep your mind on God to obtain perfect peace. Perfect peace is vital to accomplishments in life and destiny. Nehemiah 2:2, Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore and afraid. The king observed that Nehemiah had the sorrow of heart. Proverbs 15:13, A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. The spirit is broken in the absence of peace. King Solomon was able to build because he had peace round about him. Peace has to be multiplied to you for meaningful accomplishments. Your peace will not be interrupted this week and beyond in the name of Jesus.
Knowledge: Proverbs 19:2, Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; We need the knowledge of God and our Lord Jesus as well as the knowledge of your endeavors. Knowledge is essential for success. Whatever a man does not know is clearly above him. Knowledge is critical to your success. Seek knowledge, seek to know. Knowledge is power. Proverbs 24:13-14; My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; And the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: When thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, And thy expectation shall not be cut off. Knowledge delivers your reward. I pray that God will multiply Grace upon your life, your peace will be intact and not interrupted, that God will increase you in knowledge and that your results will be multiplied in Jesus’s name. Amen.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, let your grace and peace be multiplied upon me.
2. Father, let every satanic agenda to interrupt my peace be destroyed today.
3. Father, fill me with the spirit of knowledge and understanding in every area of my life.
Declare: I am making progress this week by the grace of the Almighty God. My peace is intact. I am gaining knowledge, I’m achieving great feats this week. My Life is productive. My business is productive. Heaven is opened upon me, my things are working, and God’s name is glorified.
