Topic: The time of promise
Text: Acts 7:17

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, Acts 7:17 KJV

The time of promise is the fullness of time. The children of Israel grew and multiplied under an oppressive government. It doesn’t matter how bad, oppressive, or uncomfortable a situation, an environment, or government may be, when it is your time of promise, you succeed and prosper. You have a promise of God over your life and I am bold to tell you that your time of promise is now, this is your Kairos moment. It’s your time to prosper regardless of the adverse conditions of the economy. Some people prospered during the COVID-19 pandemic. They bought land and built houses. It’s your time to prosper in the adversity of this age. It was not the day Cornelius prayed that he got an answer. He prayed, waited till the time of fullness, was remembered, and his prayers were answered. You don’t reap without sowing. Have you been sowing prayers, and efforts waiting on God, the time to reap is now.

Things happen with ease when it’s a man’s time of promise. Exodus 1:19, the children of Israel were more vigorous than the Egyptians and the Hebrew women gave birth with ease. It’s time for you to bid struggles and difficulties farewell in your life. No more would you be called Naphtali, your name is changing. Your things begin to happen easily, with little effort producing great results.

There is divine visitation in the time of promise. God visits a man in the time of promise. Genesis 21:1-2 God visited Sarah as he had said. There was a promise of a child which lingered for years. God visited Sarah when it was her time of promise, she conceived and gave birth to a son according to the word of God. God will visit you.

There is rest in the time of promise. There are no battles, wars, stress, and adversity in the time of promise. 1 Kings 5:3-4, David could not build because of many wars surrounding him but Solomon had rest because all the battles had been conquered. Jesus has fought all the battles for you. He has paid the price for your redemption and you simply need to walk into the victory he has won for you on the cross. You have entered into your rest but you must apply the wisdom of God and utilize the help of the Holy Spirit so that you don’t end up in apostasy because of the prosperity of God in your life. Many have been tested with prosperity and they have failed woefully. Don’t be fat and kick against God like Jeshurun because of prosperity. Prosperity is a test as well as a trust. May God find you dependable when tested with prosperity.

Prayer Focus
1. Father, let my things begin to happen with ease, let struggles end in my life and destiny.
2. Father, visit me with the miracles of my desires.
3. Father, give me rest on every side. Bring me to rest. I pray that it will not stress me in any way.
