Topic: The Outpouring of the Holy Spirit
Text: John 6:63, Romans 8:11
The Holy Spirit quickens and gives life. The Spirit of God gives life while the flesh offers corruption. The word of God is Spirit and life to be quickened in your life. The Holy Spirit imparts life to whatever we do for great results.
The Holy Spirit inspires, instructs, and directs us and reveals Christ in His fullness, Job 32:8. The Holy Spirit reveals the mysteries of life and the Kingdom of God.
The Holy Ghost energizes the weak. Those waiting on God get their strength renewed. He enlightens and reveals the deep secrets to us, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.
The Holy Spirit convicts the heart of sinners producing genuine repentance and confessions, He helps and directs us to pray for the will of God, Romans 8:26. Requests that are not in line with the will of God get no answers.
The Holy Spirit comforts and gives healing of inner wounds deep within our soul.
Prayers
1. Holy Spirit divine, quicken me and breathe your life into all I do
2. Father, may the eyes of my understanding be enlightened, and reveal the deep and unsearchable mind of God to me.
3. Direct me to pray in the will of God.
4. Father, make available the conviction power of the Holy Spirit in our congregation for genuine repentance of sinners.
5. Father, send comfort to everyone hurting, energize and send them encouragement.
