Topic: Sleeping in the storm
Text: Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:15-19
Requirements for sleeping in the storm.
1. Have Jesus in your life.
2. A solid foundation.
3. You can sleep in your storm if you have a dream.
4. You must be a man of faith
5. You must trust in the infallibility of God’s promises: a man who will sleep in the storm is a man who trusts in the infallibility of the word of God, He is willing to stake his life at the expense of the word of God. He stands and builds on the word of God. You must be able to believe that God can deliver what he promised. GOD CANNOT FAIL AND THE WORD OF GOD CANNOT FAIL. His counsel is immutable. GOD CANNOT LIE. Ezra 7:10, to sleep in the storm, you have a responsibility to study and search out the word of God. Jeremiah 15:16, seek the word of God and do it, teach and stand on the word of God. His words and promises cannot be altered. Your life can never get out of order if built on the word of God. Heaven and earth may pass away but not a jot or a tittle of God’s word, they stand sure. You can sleep on the assurance of the promises God has given to you. There is a word God has given you, find it out, believe it, stand on it, obey it, do it, and teach it. The word of God will find expression in your life.
Prayers
1. My Father, You are not a man to fail or repent, let none of your counsel and promises concerning my life fail, let them all come to pass.
2. Joshua 21:45, Father, let none of your promises or word concerning me fail, let my word come to pass.
3. Father, I receive the strength to stand and wait on your word. Your word will happen for me and find expression in my life in the name of Jesus
