Topic: Contending For Your Possession
Text: Deuteronomy 2:24
Doors are not open on a platter of gold or without a fight. Psalm 24, God gave the land of the heathen to the children of Israel but he instructed them to contend for the land. Contention is necessary because the enemy is unwilling to let you in on the possession, 1 Corinthians 9:16. There are adversaries at your door to prevent you from gaining access to your open door to possess your possession. You must contend. You must be able to see the things God has made available to you first before contention. If you don’t see it, you cannot seize it.
You must arise to contend. You cannot contend while sitting.
Your adversary is anything that opposes you. They are opponents of your opportunities. Your open doors symbolize opportunities, access and blessings so you must contend for your open doors.
An adversary is the next devil assigned to your next level. David was anointed as king but he had Goliath and the Philistines to contend with before ascending the throne.
Whatever hinders you from getting to your next level is an adversary. 1 Thessalonians 2:18, Satan is the prince of hindrance. Your adversary is the stubborn enemy that must die for you to live just like Pharaoh and Haman, Esther 7:6.
Prayers
1. I command adversaries of my open doors to be consumed by fire in the name of Jesus
2. Every enemy of my destiny, perish after the order of Haman.
3. I contend for all that God has promised me. I take delivery of them all.
4. Let every Goliath of my new level fall and die in the name of Jesus.
