Gospel singer, Benita Okojie has released her highly anticipated single, “Ijesu Mhen.”Sung in her native Ishan language from Edo State, the song translates to “My Jesus.” This is the fourth single off Benita’s upcoming fifth studio album, set to be released in 2024.
Benita has previously released four albums that featured hugely successful songs like “Osemudiamen,” “Child of God,” “Immanuel,” “We Ose,” “Owase,” and “Ayo.”
Benita’s inspiration for “Ijesu Mhen” comes from a place of gratitude and the goodness of Jesus, as mentioned in Psalm 34. Produced by Rotimi Keys, this showcases Benita’s revitalized and compelling vocal delivery.
