How does the Holy Spirit give an edge to a believer contd’
The Knowledge of scriptures: this is another way by which the Holy Spirit gives an advantage to a believer. The scriptures make you wise. He imparts the spirit of wisdom, Daniel 6:3. Wisdom distinguishes a believer, wisdom is required to navigate the affairs of life. Wisdom is required to live and interact with other humans, it is required as a spouse. There’s no dimension of life where wisdom is not required. Wisdom is required to build. Nothing thrives or succeeds without the wisdom of God. Wisdom is gotten from scriptures when the Holy Spirit breathes on the word thereby producing enormous results.
Daniel and Joseph demonstrated wisdom, Daniel 5:12, Daniel was sent to interpret the writing on the wall because of the wisdom of God imparted to him. You will gain an edge when you operate in wisdom. It gives you an edge over your competitors and adversaries. Joseph told Pharaoh his dream, interpreted the dream, and told him the possible solution to resolve the impending danger. He was made the prime Minister of Egypt afterward. Wisdom makes a man’s face shine and changes the boldness of his countenance.
Ability: Luke 10:19, Acts 1:8, The Holy Spirit gives us an advantage as he empowers us to execute tasks bigger than us. He gives the ability to match the task, strength for strength, and grace for grace.
Prayers
1. Father, baptize me afresh with the spirit of wisdom.
2. Father, I receive divine ability in every area of weakness and for my task and assignment.
