Topic: Emblems of the Kingdom
Text: Colossians 1:12-14
God has delivered us from the power of sin and has translated into the kingdom of his dear son. The translation happens when you give your life to Christ and this translation gives you access and makes you a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in Christ. The redemption package has a lot of provisions for the redeemed.
Indices of the Translation into the Kingdom of God
- Freedom from oppression: you cannot be oppressed in the realms of the spiritual, You’re free from oppression in life and the dream. Your life cannot be taken or snuffed out.
- Colossians 1:14, your sins are forgiven. You have redemption in Christ Jesus. Provisions are made for your future. You’re bought by the blood and free from the power of sin
- You will delight in his presence: you delight to dwell in his presence and the Spirit witnesses that we are His own. A craving for his presence is an indication that you belong to the kingdom of God.
- Desire for the house of God, Psalm 122:1, how glad are you about the house of God? Your name or background does not make you a Christian, your relationship with Christ makes you a Christian. Christianity is personal but not private, you must not forsake the assembling of believers and this should not be on Sunday alone.
PrayersÂ
- Father, I have been delivered from darkness and translated into the Kingdom of your dear son. Let there be proof of my translation. Make me free from every satanic oppression, burden, power, and guilt of sin.
- Father, grant me an insatiable appetite for your presence in the place of prayers and studies of your word.
- Father, give me the grace to participate in the advancement of your house and your kingdom.
