Topic: Operating in the supernatural
Text:2 Kings 2:1-6, 9-15
The supernatural controls the natural. There’s an unseen hand that controls the seen world. The spiritual controls the physical. Ephesians 3:20 God can exceed our expectations, requests, and thoughts depending on the level of the supernatural power at work within us. God can do whatever we desire in full measure depending on the supernatural power at work in us. God’s power cannot be limited. It’s everyone’s responsibility to generate power to make things happen.
What is the level of the power of God at work in you? Elisha knew he needed power to be in control of his environment. God’s desire for you is that you will be in control of your life and environment under him. He gave us dominion at the beginning in the Garden of Eden. You are to express dominion in your environment but it takes the supernatural to have this control. God is waiting on you to take up power and supernatural strength through Christ Jesus and be in command of your environment. God has given you as a witness, a leader, and commander to the people as discussed in Isaiah 55:3-4. You need the supernatural power of God at work in you to be a leader in this wicked generation.
You need power to succeed, live, and fulfill your destiny here on earth. You need power to make progress in this world, to open doors for you, to make room for you. You need the supernatural power of God to remain in the room God has prepared for you. This power becomes necessary because some forces and powers wouldn’t want you to enter through the door God has opened for you. 1 Corinthians 16:9 some adversaries will prevent you from gaining entrance to the doors God has opened for you if you lack supernatural strength. Some forces and powers want to unseat you and take your seat from you so you must generate supernatural power to remain in the seat God has placed you in. You need the power to fulfill the purpose of the Almighty God for your life.
Prayer Focus
1. Father, empower me, envelope my life and destiny in your power. Release your power upon my life.
2. Father, multiply your grace and power upon me in the name of Jesus
3. Father, by your power, let amazing doors open for me. Let no power be able to chase me out of the room you’ve made for me or unseat me from the seat you have made for me in the name of Jesus.
